About me!

Hi, I'm Katie! I earned my BA in physics and a minor in computer science from the University of Chicago in 2021. After my graduation, I worked for the ATLAS Experiment at CERN for one year as a part of the UChicago high energy physics group. I then went on to get my MS in Robotics from Northwestern University in 2023. During this time, I had the opportunity to intern at Boston Dynamics as a part of the Stretch behavior team. My capstone project focused on implementing a social navigation pipeline onto a Unitree Go1 quadruped robot. I currently work at the AI Institute as a robotics software development engineer focusing on Spot applications -- including maintaining the open source Spot ROS 2 driver.
